Hygiene is a top priority at Stielow

Air is the most important basis of human life. Nevertheless, there are no clear legal requirements regarding indoor air quality. Air pollutants are only defined by the WHO for outdoor air and its various pollutants. However, each country goes its own way.
It is becoming increasingly clear that air and hygiene are a key issue, and are therefore becoming more and more important and are now becoming more widely recognised by consumers.

VDI 6022 (Association of German Engineers) with its guideline on "technical building equipment" has formulated hygiene requirements of a structural and technical nature. Hygiene requirements, the state of the art for indoor air quality and ventilation systems are described here.

Stielow GmbH complies with these recommendations with the appropriate measures to maintain health and avoid damage to health or respiratory diseases. The following guidelines are applied:

  • DIN 1946 Part 2 "Health requirements"
  • VDI 2081 "Noise generation and noise reduction in ventilation and air-conditioning systems"
  • VDI 3801 "Operation of ventilation and air-conditioning systems"
  • VDI 3802 "Ventilation and air conditioning systems for production facilities"
  • VDI 3803 "Ventilation and air conditioning systems; structural and technical requirements"
  • VDI 6022 "Hygiene-conscious planning; design, operation and maintenance of ventilation and air-conditioning systems"
